With donor support, Mashujaa helped two young mothers deliver safely and begin their journey of recovery and education.

At Mashujaa in the Making, we recently welcomed two young girls, aged 15 and 17, who came to us after facing extremely difficult circumstances. Both unexpectedly became pregnant at a very young age.
Thanks to the support of our donors and partners, we were able to cover all hospital costs for the safe delivery of their daughters. Today, we are grateful to share that both mothers have safely delivered healthy babies — one now one month old, and the other just three weeks old.

The young mothers are currently in our safe house rehabilitation program, where they receive weekly visits from a volunteer psychologist and additional support from our partners at SHOFCO. With the right care, protection, and encouragement, they are regaining strength and hope for the future.
Our mission is not only to provide immediate safety, but also to restore dignity and opportunity. Both girls are now preparing to return to school in January, ensuring that their education and future remain bright.
This story is a testament to resilience, to the power of community, and to the importance of standing together for the most vulnerable.
At Mashujaa in the Making, we believe that every child deserves safety, healing, and the chance to dream again.
